6.1 Membership Onboarding & Staking Mechanism

Participation in Asset Avenue begins with becoming a verified member of the platform’s investment club. This is not a passive process, it requires active commitment through a staking mechanism, ensuring that only serious and aligned participants can access the platform's benefits. Prospective members must first complete KYC (Know Your Customer) and identity verification, in line with international financial compliance standards.

Once verified, users are required to stake a minimum amount of AAV tokens, Asset Avenue’s native utility token. This stake acts as both a security and governance commitment, symbolizing a member’s vested interest in the ecosystem. Membership is directly tied to the staking status: as long as a user has tokens staked, they remain a full member of the club, with privileges including access to live investment projects, the ability to submit their own projects, participate in governance decisions, and trade on the resale hub.

If a user decides to unstake their AAV tokens, they effectively relinquish their membership privileges. This has a dual effect: it limits access for inactive participants, and it reduces the circulating supply of AAV tokens during active staking periods, increasing scarcity and incentivizing long-term holding.
